We value your privacy. That’s why you can fully control and protect your account data. Go to ‘user settings’ in our app to disable notifications or hide your email address for businesses (if you don’t want to be contacted for promotions, specials, and unique offers).

If you received a mailing from us, your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of either receiving information in the future, you have registered or purchased our product, or otherwise have an existing relationship with us.

We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of data used by our system.

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with anyone without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you e-mails based on your request for information and notifications. Please note that stores using Stampwallet have access to your email address when you added this store to your wallet. You can disable notifications or you can hide your email through the user settings in our app.

This policy describes the types of personal information we may collect and how we use it to provide the Service.

Using Customer Loyalty App (Stampwallet, Stampwallet Europe B.V., Stampwallet Ventures B.V or Puntje) services and products, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.

What type of personal information do we collect and how do we use it?

Account information – When you register with stampwallet we will request some personal information, including email address and password to create your account. Your password will be maintained on our system in an encrypted form.

Account Data – The contents of your account are stored and maintained on our servers in order to provide the service. Because we keep back-up copies of data for the purposes of recovery from errors or system failure, residual copies of data may remain on our systems for some time, even after you have deleted information or after the termination of your account. Our employees do not access the content of any user account unless you specifically request them to do so (for example, if you are having technical difficulties accessing your account) or if required by law, to maintain our system, or to protect us or the public.

Usage Data – We also may collect information about the use of your account, such as how much storage you are using, your timezone settings, how often you log in and other information related to your registration and use of the Service. Information displayed or clicked on in your user account (including UI elements, links, and other information) may be also recorded. We use this information internally to deliver the best possible service to you, such as improving the user interface.

Cookies – A cookie is a small data file that is sent to your computer when you first visit a website. This identifier helps us better understand our user base and how they are using our site and services.

In addition, we log the unique ID provided by our cookie and the URL of the last site you visited.

As a basic matter, we need this information to help us provide our services to you. For example, we need to validate your identity in order to maintain the security of your data. We also need to know what Internet Protocol address your query came from so we can send the appropriate pages back to you.

Geolocation – When you use your account, we check where you are so we can make our app more personal. We only show you information / stores in close range of your position. You can manage location services yourself. If you disable these locastion services some features will not be available (like search for places on a map), but the app will still work.

iBeacons – Our app sometimes uses ibeacon technology for exact position calculation. This gives you a lot of advantages. We use this data to enhance our analytics program for store owners. This feature is depreciated in 2017, but in some cases (like White Labels) still active. You can allow or disallow use of Bluetooth yourself.

How we may contact you

We may send you information related to your user account or associated services. Because we believe such information is important, you will not be given the opportunity to opt-out of receiving the most critical information regarding the service or your user account. You can edit other message types & push notifications in our app.

How we may stores you follow contact you

From the moment you add a store to your wallet, your email address will be visible for that particular store. Only the store admin can see your data and use your email to sent promotions or contact you. If you don’t want this, you can disable this per store under the settings of that store. If disabled (through settings page) your email will not be visible for stores.

Transfer of information

Personal information may be stored and processed in the United States where our servers are located or any other country in which we maintain facilities. By using the Service, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country.

We reserve the right to transfer your personal information in the event of a transfer of ownership of the service.
